Grand Opening Ceremony  Grand Opening Ceremony was held at our new office on Tuesday, June, 15, 2010, at 6:30 pm .We had a chance to host wery distinguished guests,starting with, Honoraray Mayor Jim Suttle,Vice Chancellor of UNO Terry Hynes ,President of Midwest Federation Suleyman Turhan ,from Chicago,President of American Institute of Islamic Studies Dr.Syed Mohiddin and many of our friends .During ceremony,delicious foods from Turkish Kitchen,turkish tea and coffe served .We would like to thanks again all of our friends for their support to our foundation.  
Assembly of Turkic American Federation opening gala draw huge crowd The Assembly of Turkic American Federations is the broader umbrella organization for federations and similar entities which bear qualities and share the objectives of establishing closer relations with the Turkic-American community and the community at large and also with the members of the other ethnic communities in the United States.Niagara Foundation is also member of Turkic Midvest federation. A reception held in Washington, D.C., by the Assembly of Turkic American Federations, gathering six major federations representing the thriving Turkic-American community in the US, was attended by seven senators and 53 congressmen among hundreds of well-wishers. The reception was held on Wednesday at the Willard InterContinental Washington, bringing ambassadors, directors and representatives of Turkish, Turkic and Eurasian peoples together with members of the US Congress, legislative directors and legislative assistants for foreign policy. US senators Richard Lugar, Robert Casey, Frank Lautenberg, Jeff Bingaman, Roger Wicker, Mark Warner and Kay Hagen were present at the event. Photos | |
